As the final days of 2024 draw near and the world begins to shimmer with the glow of the holiday season, I invite you to join me in a moment of reflection. This is a time to pause, breathe, and take stock of the journey we've walked together over the past year.
The spirit of December often calls us to reconnect with our values, to honor our shared humanity, and to embrace gratitude. This year has been a testament to the resilience of our coaching community. We have moved forward with many important initiatives, a wonderful World Game conference, strong new programs, an expanded focus on executive team coaching, and exciting new Teal initiatives.
We have received the ICF’s world honor in their Impact Awards as the Most Distinguished Education Provider in 2024. We have received the Jane Goodall award in China for our service to expanding ecology initiatives. Erickson is expanding, with people and with practice. Despite challenges and uncertainties, we have shown that the power of connection, compassion, and purpose can light the way even in the darkest times.
Looking back, 2024 has been a year of growth, courage, and unwavering commitment. Whether through virtual gatherings or face-to-face moments, I have witnessed the boundless energy with which each of you contributes to creating a world that thrives on wisdom, kindness, and inclusion. You remind me every day that Erickson coaches are not simply practitioners of a skill, but also custodians of hope and catalysts for change.
This year, many of us faced turbulent waters, yet we navigated them together—our collective flotilla of care and purpose strengthening with each wave. The work we do goes beyond transforming individuals; it weaves a tapestry of hope for communities and generations to come.
