The Power of Impact
“In the long river of life, everyone goes through different seasons, each bringing its own unique scenery and challenges. Turning forty, in particular, is a period of self-reflection and rebirth for many people,” Daisy reflects.
“I started my 40s in a fog, questioning whether anything I had done in my life was truly meaningful and what the future held for me. Although this period of confusion and questioning was difficult, I’m grateful for it because it led me to coaching and living a life that truly belonged to me.”
Coaching was calling
“I first came into contact with the field of coaching in 2009. My heart was full of desire to learn coaching, but at the time, the tuition fee deterred me. I told myself that I couldn’t be so selfish, and that I had to take care of my family responsibilities.”
“A few years later, when the opportunity came again, I was once again drawn to coaching and impressed by its charisma. This time, I declined the opportunity because I told myself that studying would take too long, and that it would interfere with my job.”
Three’s a charm
“Finally, in 2013, I couldn’t stop that inner voice calling me to coaching and I enrolled. From the moment I stepped into Erickson’s coaching class, I felt as if I had found a beam of light in my life. It illuminated my inner world and allowed me to see my own self-sufficient power and potential.”
“During the learning process with Erickson, Dr. Marilyn Atkinson’s wisdom deeply affected me, and her power of simplicity, joy, and compassion brought many possibilities to the second half of my life. It not only allowed me to focus on my mission in my professional development, spread the energy of coaching, and gain more sense of achievement and inner strength, but it also brought more awareness and expansion into my life.”
Living in the present
“I’ve been coaching for over 12 years now, and every coaching dialogue is like a spiritual awakening, allowing both people involved to grow and ascend.”
“Coaching has helped me realize that instead of striving for an unattainable perfect future, we should focus on valuing and cherishing the present moment. My mission is to support people to live to be their best selves right now; to always focus on the present, to be grateful for the energy of each moment, and to enjoy what your mission calls you to do.”
Become your own light
“Those moments in life when coaching helps you converse with someone and leave them with a feeling of hope, courage or strength – those moments are the most valuable asset and experience I have as a coach, and as a living person. They have given me a deep understanding that even a little bit of energy can expand and extend exponentially, just like E=mc², because everyone you meet will feel joy, relaxation, and goodwill from it, and they will pass it on to everyone they meet.”
“That’s why my message to everyone is this: Become your own light, and shine it on yourself, on others, and on all beings, because you never know who it will save out of the darkness.”
