Richard Hyams
Richard’s facilitation background includes more than 6000 hours and over 20 years of training and facilitating professional coaching education programs including human the globally renowned and ICF accredited “The Art and Science of Coaching™” program. Richard has trained in multiple cities in North America, Europe and China. Based on feedback from Learners, Richard’s facilitation style is experienced as engaging, humorous, fun, infused with energy, and at the same time informative and presented in a concise, succinct manner. Richard is highly skilled at delivering complex content in easily accessible ways. In addition to training Erickson’s flagship coaching education program, Richard is Erickson lead facilitator for the Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) courses and has been instrumental in their development over the years. Since the year 2014, Richard has an additional role as Faculty and Program Development Lead for Erickson Coaching International. Richard is responsible for the on boarding and development of Faculty and of revising programs such as the Art & Science of Coaching. Since 2014, Richard has led and executed three revisions of the Art & Science of Coaching. Richard’s professional life and personal life has been guided by an aim to gather the very best tools, techniques and approaches in order to have a life well lived. More specifically Richard has a personal mission to experience a self-maintained, internally generated happiness and wellbeing regardless of the conditions around him or the behaviour of others. He believes this is true personal power and freedom and so he aims to inspire and to teach others to do the same.
