Lawrence McGinnis
Lawrence McGinnis started his journey in Edmonton, hitting the books at the University of Alberta and snagging a law degree. He rocked the courtroom, winning over 70% of his trials and introducing a clever defense strategy that's still a hit today. Eventually, Lawrence traded the courtroom drama for the West Coast, moving to Vancouver in 1992. In 2004, he took the reins at Erickson, determined to boost its online presence. Thanks to his SEO wizardry, Erickson’s Coach Training program shot up from page 252 on Google to the top spots, drawing in loads of new students. Not stopping there, he launched Erickson's online training programs, playing a key role in increasing the reach of the organization. In 2011, he partnered with Heidi Hamilton to modernize Erickson and increase profits. By 2019, Lawrence passed the torch to Louise Hendey and stepped into the Chairman role.
