A Message from Erickson Coaching International on the Israel-Hamas War

Erickson Coaching International lives our deepest purpose to grow the infinite power of human connection.  Our work is about building bridges not only within the human race, but also between humans and all life on this planet. Our work aims to strengthen bonds and consciousness so that we expand sustainable love, hope, vision and joy within families, communities, organizations and the thriving of all life on our planet.

It is with the profoundest sadness that we, with the rest of the world, witness the devastation in Israel and Gaza. We stand with the mother who holds her dying infant.  We cry with the families who no longer have a place to call home. We grapple for solutions with the leaders who are seeking to find a humane way through.  We stand alongside the communities who are doing all they can to support those through the worst times of their lives.

We stand with humanity.  We stand for the value of human life.  We believe in the potential of human beings to live in peace and true acceptance of one another. We cannot profess to know the answers, but we believe in the potential of human beings to find solutions to the most complex of problems through dialogue and deeper understanding.

It is in these times of darkness and pain that the world most needs coaches who are trained to support, rebuild the human spirit, and help people find the best possible ways forward. Erickson Coaching International has spent 43 years training professional coaches to sherpa others on their journeys no matter how challenging that journey may be. Now is the time to strengthen and support our purpose.

We invite coaches to volunteer their time, and will coordinate volunteer coaching to all those who are suffering, in turmoil or, might benefit from it through this crisis. If you have an interest in supporting this cause, please contact us by sending an email to: volunteers@erickson.edu

We also call for the world to ask open questions about this complicated and heartbreaking situation. What is the world we want to leave behind for our children?  How can we as individuals, families and communities work together to catalyze the transformation we wish to see? What might strengthen our sense of personal ownership for being part of the army-for-good that builds a peaceful planet for all life on earth?
