Why Become ICF Certified?
Whether you are just exploring the idea of becoming a coach, or already on your way towards completing your coach training, you may be wondering whether you will need to get certified with the International Coach Federation (ICF) as a professional coach. There are three certification credentials that are offered by the ICF – Associate Certified Coach (ACC), Professional Certified Coach (PCC), and finally Master Certified Coach (MCC). Most applicants start off with the ACC credential as it takes some time to accumulate the number of coaching hours required for PCC and MCC levels.
Did you know that:
“84% of adult consumers who had experienced a coaching relationship reported that it was important for coaches to hold a credential” – 2010 ICF Global Consumer Awareness Study
Our ICF-accredited core coach training program The Art & Science of Coaching fulfills all of the ICF’s educational and practicum requirements. Our powerful curriculum is designed to prepare and support you through the entire ICF application process.

Real Feedback From Our Students:
“Erickson’s ICF coach training gave me a powerful new way to listen and engage with clients that gives incredible access to results. Combined with the Passion into Profit Course, coaching is now more than a passion for me; in about six months of hard work, I have now replaced my physiotherapy practice with a full-time Career and Transitional Coaching.” – Mark Marcynuk, Professional Career & Transitional Coach
“After years in international business consulting followed by a career as an MBA prof, it was nice to be able to get my ICF certification from a company that had a global appeal. When I started with Erickson, I never envisioned that I would end up having an international coaching network and clients from around the globe.” – Dr. Steven Purse, Ph.D, Professional & Career Coach
