Jan Georg Kristiansen


Jan Georg is an economist/MSc and teacher that transitioned into being an artist of learning and a coach with 20 years experience teaching leadership and team development, learning strategies, and coaching. Since 2001 Jan Georg has been a leader and team coach for about 20% of all public schools in Oslo and for academics in finance/banking/IT within the fields transition, leader-team-organizational development, conflict resolution, vision-plan-implementation, and more. He has co-authored two books: Professional Dialogues & Coaching & Relationship Thinking In The School System (March 2008, Universitetsforlaget) and Coaching in Schools. With his assistance, Jan Georg's corporate client was declared "Company Of The Year" by HR Norge, in 2008.

In 2005 Jan Georg Kristiansen became Norway's first Master Certified Coach, and the third MCC in the Nordic countries! Prior to that achievement, he held two NLP Master Practitioner certificates, first in 1991 and later in 1996, after meeting Marilyn Atkinson. To date, Jan Georg has logged over 4000 hours of ICF coaching and is busy facilitating his 8th class of Module V’ers in Norway. Jan Georg has been pioneering Erickson's The Art and Science of Coaching program in Norway since 1998 and holds the title of  CEO and CFO of Erickson Coaching Nordic. Currently, he efforts are focused on developing effective administrative routines, project leadership, and delegation of his small but productive coach training company on the leading edge of Europe's coaching scene.
