Module I

You will learn the basics of practicing an effective coach position and be able to conduct a full coaching session by the end of this module. The focus of Module I is on inspiration, with an emphasis on the question – “What do I want to achieve?”

Module II

Module II will provide you with an expansive set of tools to delve into your client’s question – “How might I achieve it?” You will learn time-bound, actionable and rigorously tested coaching strategies to achieve a productive coaching relationship with your client.

Module III

The aim of Module III is to raise awareness of how connecting with the deepest values enable us to commit to following through on a project or a goal. When we identify and align with our core values we are able to answer the question – “Why is it important for me to be doing this?” In this module you will learn processes that facilitate values integration and how to handle various objections.

Module IV

“How will I know when I have achieved my goal?” is the key question you will work with in this module. A brief study of meta-programs will also highlight the differences in communication styles and reveal methods of communicating more effectively with others.

Module V (Available online only)

The final module is designed to make sure your coaching meets the standards of the ICF and the Erickson Certified Professional Coach designation. With successful completion of Module V you will be able to confidently apply directly to the ICF for your ACC or PCC certification.

*Modules I – IV of “The Art and Science of Coaching” are recognized by the International Coach Federation (ICF) as a program supplying a total of 128 Accredited Coach Specific Training Hours (ACSTH). Module V supplies 24 additional hours of coach specific training as well as mentorship. Note: Completion of Modules I – IV of “The Art & Science of Coaching” fulfills ACSTH requirements only; Module V is required to complete the ACTP.
