The Enneagram is a rich and practical study of personal growth based on ancient teachings. Today, this study has a modern overlay of psychological typing rooted in these ancient teachings. The Enneagram of personality describes nine distinct types. Each personality type is defined by a chief mental and emotional concern which underlies the development of the personality and highly influences the life experiences of the person who falls under that particular Enneagram type.

 

The Enneagram is a powerful guide to self-awareness and evolution. Combining it with NLP empowers both models, especially in terms of personal evolution. Some recent explorations of the Enneagram and NLP offer very powerful insights into the fundamental behavior beliefs or meta programs that operate at the “programming language” level of the psyche development.

 

This workshop is designed to be active and experiential.  It will give you an opportunity to “try on” different Enneagram patterns, explore hidden beliefs, and develop methods to move towards more balanced, accepting, and integrated responses.  Come and begin a fascinating and useful journey into understanding persona, psyche, and essence.

 

You will learn:

·         To recognize your own Enneagram patterns, or the Enneagram patters or you client or team members.

·         Chart a course to a more useful set of response with your Enneagram patterns.

·         To develop balance and humor with what were formally non-resourceful Enneagram habits.

·         Learn effective “stress” responses of others.

·         Learn how to ‘step-into-the-shoes’ to understand very different Enneagram styles than your own.

·         To begin to "tame your dragons" by vanquishing negative self-talk.

·         To explore your 'historical model'-the deep patterns you learned in your family.

·         To connect with the evolutionary vision of key people in your life.
