The Ericksonian Hypnosis Certificate Program is ideal for advanced practitioners with a hypnosis background as well as individuals who are learning this skills-set, and want to do it well. It is very useful for counselling and coaching professionals wanting to upgrade skills.

The program offers an opportunity to explore and develop proficiency in Ericksonian induction, trance, and conversation as a form of gentle redirection and healing. Ericksonian hypnosis uses metaphor and experience to build bridges between the conscious and the unconscious mind. 
 

Ericksonian Hypnosis Program Modules Include:

Learning Technologies

This course offers key accelerated learning strategies linked to training in the fundamentals of effective perception, prioritization and evaluation abilities.
The program is designed to quickly increase learning effectiveness and refined skills for the intake, storage and retrieval of effective memory.

Ericksonian Hypnotherapy

This course provides basic and advanced NLP and Ericksonian trance skills. Students will learn how to assist clients in developing inner resources, and reframing perceptions and evaluations of events in order to become more effective in their lives.
Students will learn the uses of trance, the voice and language of trance inductions, how trance accesses the unconscious mind, and specific strategies like accessing resources through the early learning set. The course provides students with the essential Milton Erickson applications of respectful therapeutic inductions.

The program also explores Milton's way with multiple levels of communication and the skills of being "artfully vague." A number of lecture, demonstration and exercise formats are offered which build competency in:
* Milton Model" language patterns
* Non-verbal communication patterns
* Indirect suggestion and therapeutic binds
* Effective reframing of problem states
* Building and maintaining rapport
* Calibration to and incorporation of unconscious responses
* Calibration of 'excellence' induction exploration

Advanced Metaphors

Metaphors and Healing is a course in Ericksonian story-telling. Milton Erickson was a master story-teller who did much of his most powerful work using stories. Milton used metaphor to anchor effective attitudes, self-images and behaviours for people who did not know how to find these experiences for themselves.

Many of Milton's stories were healing reframes which allowed people to attend to new possibilities previously "not in the picture". Frequently he used humour and paradox to impact dramatically, while responding to peoples interest in saving face. 

Other stories repetitively detailed explicit new behaviours and assisted people in developing more effective self-images and visual rehearsal patterns. The powerful microscopic metaphor technique for resolving trauma is also included.

This course will tie together many of the most exciting solution focused advances in designing effective metaphors. Milton Erickson used metaphor to anchor effective attitudes, self-images, and behaviours for people.
This application deals with the power of reframing, paradox, visual rehearsal, the early learning set, and embedded language patterns. In this course these are linked together into a thorough framework for pinpointing metaphors and where to use them.

Successfully completing the program, you will be a Certified Ericksonian Hypnotherapist.
