> Certification – Module 5

Module V (24 hours). Certification may be significant to your career. If you are planning or already coaching professionally, both independent clients and organizations will want to know your credentials and level of certification. If integrating coaching into management and leadership skills, certification in coaching will be a clear indicator of one’s technical, creative, and practical abilities. Earning certification is an achievement. Module V strongly supports confidence and competence while deepening commitment.
LEVELS OF CERTIFICATION
1. If you are a Graduate from Module 4 you can use the title Professional Coach (PC)
2. If you are a Graduate from Module 5 can use the title Erickson Certified Professional Coach (ECPC)
Erickson Professional Coach Certificate (EPC):
Attend Modules 1 to 4
Pass The Art and Science of Coaching Written Exam with a combined total grade of over 70%
Write and submit a brief Book Report on a coaching related book and connect your learning to Erickson’s Solution Focused Model (i.e. how are you a better Solution Focused Coach after reading this book) or Write a two (2) page article on Erickson’s Coaching approach that you can use as an article for print publication or on your website
Submit three (3) recordings of you coaching using the Solution Focused Coaching Model
Demonstrate 25 hours of Erickson style coaching with “non-colleague” clients
(NOTE: You are no longer required to send in your binder of client and self assessments. We only require a spreadsheet including the name of the client, their phone number and email address, and number of coaching hours accumulated together)
Once you have all of this together you mail the package to Erickson College Vancouver:

Erickson Certified Professional Coach Certificate (ECPC):
Attend Module 1-4
Attend the Module 5 Telecourse (at least 8 out of 12 sessions except for language groups in Eastern Europe and Asia)
Module V is a full professional review and integration for the concepts and material delivered in The Art and Science of Coaching Module I to IV. This is the final step in completing Erickson’s ICF ACTP (Accredited Coach Training Program).Module V is designed to support Erickson’s advanced coaches to masterfully integrate Ericksonian techniques, tools and content into their new or existing profession in alignment with the Erickson College and ICF Proficiencies and Core Competencies.
Participate in Six (6) Mentored Coaching Calls
Each session will hone the ICF proficiencies, promote a deep level of mastery of skills, and prepare participants to apply directly to the ICF for their internationally recognized Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential. Upon earning the designation of PCC, one can then work toward the Master Certified Coach (MCC) level.
Pass an Oral Assessment that demonstrates you are coaching at the PCC level

Once you have completed all of these steps (which are coordinated through Rae Choice), Rae will inform Erickson Vancouver and you will be mailed your ACTP certificate.
NOTE: If you are within 20 hours of applying for your credential, recommendation letters will be written on your behalf by the PCC or MCC mentors that you work with.
When you have enough coaching hours, you will apply for your credential with the ICF
PCC ACTP Application Requirements
The ICF Professional Certified Coach credential is for the proven coach. There are two ways to apply for the PCC: an ACTP application and a Portfolio application. The ACTP application is only for those who havecompleted an entire Accredited Coach Training Program (ACTP). The Portfolio application is for all other applicants.

The Master Certified Coach credenital is for the expert coach. There is a single application type for the MCC.
