As an Erickson College participant we support your coach training every step of the way. Right from the get go our dedicated enrolment advisors (all of whom are coaches) are available to answer any questions you can think of, before, during and after your training. Once enrolled you can start to take advantage of the numerous support services we offer, including a centralized HUB, a free business building course, a blog contributor program and much more!
We want to give you the best possible chance to succeed in your coach training. That’s why we have put in place a range of resources and support services that will make your training process both enjoyable and fulfilling.
Erickson HUB
The HUB is a safe and secure online place for participants, alumni, trainers and international organziers to share their thoughts, ideas, coaching techniques, world game, experiences, types of clients, course recommendations and positivity! It also facilitates the easy access to a wealth of on-demand class materials and valuable coaching content.
The HUB provides you with a central place to download your coaching class materials, allowing us to supply you with the most relevant content for your course. Participants enrolled in The Art & Science of Coaching (Onsite & Online) will have access to recordings of The Art & Science of Coaching Summer Intensive for a year after completing the course. Once you have completed a module, the corresponding Summer Intensive recording will become available to you on the HUB.
The HUB uses online forums for each module and each class within that module, meaning each forum is specific to relevant topics. This help reduce irrelevant questions and comments, making it easy to navigate. There is however a ‘General’ forum in which any coaching related topic (including ICF certification) can be raised and discussed. The HUB also allows you to communicate with your trainer at your convenience, you are able to ask questions or clarify points from your course.
Steps To Success
Steps To Success is an on-demand program designed to give you the knowledge and confidence to start thinking about your own coaching business. It is available for any student taking The Art and Science of Coaching program.
Three videos make up the core of the program. The first looks at business basics that include, naming your company, creating a mission statement and crafting your brand identity. The second delves into identifying your target market, creating your elevator pitch and how to persuade potential clients. Part three explores the wonderful world of online marketing; it walks you through creating your own website, blog and social media profiles.
There are also four in-depth PDF guides available for download to accompany the video series. The guides are written for the social media beginner and explain each platform’s features rather than simply describing how to use them. Finally, an hour long webinar takes place every month to answer any and all of your questions relating to starting your own coaching business.
Erickson Alumni Badge Program
Upon completion of The Art & Science of Coaching Module I, Modules I-VI and Module V you will receive an Erickson Alumni Badge to be placed on your website. The aim of the Erickson Alumni Badge is to strengthen the alumni community and help your credibility as a certified life coach, business coach or corporate coach.
This badge is designed to be displayed proudly on your website for all to see.
- It represents all the hard work you have put into achieving the coaching qualification you have.
- It shows visitors that you are a credible,quality and approved coach who shares the Erickson College values.
Blog Contributor Program
We are always looking for bright, energetic and thought provoking contributors to join us on our quest to create a blog that informs and entertains the coaching world. As an Erickson College participant you can submit your work to be posted on our blog extending your reach into the coaching community.
How You Benefit
Simply put, the more people that come to read our blog and therefore your articles, the more click throughs to your website and social media platforms you will receive, resulting in more leads and greater credibility. Our website is super SEO (search engine optimized) friendly and appears in many common keyword/phrase searches (e.g. life coach training), meaning people looking for your services are more likely to find us first.
How We Benefit
One of our ongoing aims is to create a stronger online coaching community. This helps us reach our aim of being perceived as a leader in the coaching education market as well as actually creating a better online resource for coaches.
Coach Directory (Coming Soon)
We are diligently working towards offering a central database of Erickson Coaches that will be available for the public to search and browse. Each participant will have their own customizable profile to utilize as they see fit. We have a few great ideas up our sleeves, so watch this space!
